todisableinternalswitching,resultinginnooutputandverylow
quiescentinputcurrent.Theconverterisinhibitedwhenalogic
low(≤0.8–outputdisabled)isappliedtotheinhibitpin.The
unitisenabledwhenthepin,whichisinternallyconnectedtoa
pull-upresistor,isleftunconnectedorisconnectedtoanopen-
collectorgate.Theopencircuitoutputvoltageassociatedwiththe
inhibitpinis8.5to12VDC.Intheinhibitmode,amaximumof
4mAmustbesunkfromtheinhibitpinat28VDCinput.
