Description
Corning Cables Systems offers a complete line of heat-cure,
epoxy and polish connectors to suit your field or factory
termination needs. Each connector is FOCIS and TIA/EIA-
568-B.3 standards compliant, shipped from our factory
preassembled to reduce installation time, along with
recommended installation and polishing procedures.
Corning Cable Systems offers flexibility and versatility to
meet your connector needs. When performance is key, we
offer zirconia ferrule connectors that are pre-angled single-
mode (APC) for FC, SC, and LC connectors. Super or Ultra
PC can be achieved using ferrules which feature a radiused
end-face to allow physical contact polishing. For the ultimate
in performance, Corning Cable Systems offers SC and LC
single-mode connectors with tuned ferrules.
In addition to offering connectors with zirconia ferrules,
Corning Cable Systems offers SC and ST compatible multi-
mode connectors featuring a polymer ferrule which provides
near-ceramic performance at a lower price.
For maximum product flexibility, we include a range of
connector styles for single-mode and multimode applications
which include FC, SC, LC, and ST compatible connectors
available with a variety of hardware, crimp, and boot options.
Duplexing clips for SC and LC connectors are available that
allow easy removal and reversing of connectors to address
polarity issues at installation. The duplexing clip for the
LC includes anti-snagging features.
To provide maximum connector performance while minimiz-
ing installation time, Corning Cable Systems’ crimp solution
utilizes a single-strike crimp that is simple to use and provides
improved jacket retention on the cable.
