7 Detailed Description
The benefits of the AS5013 device are as follows:
n Complete system-on-chip
n High reliability due to non-contact sensing
n Low power consumption

7.1 Operating the AS5013
Typical Application.
The AS5013 requires only a few external components in order to operate immediately when connected to the host microcontroller.
Only 4 wires are needed for a simple application using a single power supply: two wires for power and two wires for the I睠 communication. A
fifth connection can be added in order to send an interrupt to the host CPU when the magnet is moving away from the center and to inform that
a new valid coordinate can be read.
