Description:
Aeroflex introduces a new series of high power PIN
diode switch assemblies for use as antenna horizontal or
vertical polarization for radio applications in the 2 GHz
range, up to 20 GHz.
The switch assemblies are SPDT configuration and
accepts a transceiver input, and connects one or two
antenna outputs, either one at a time, or both simultane-
ously, with the desired switchable 90 degree phase off-
sets.
The Model AY-J100 shown operates in the 2 GHz band,
with a through path transmitter loss of only 1.3dB maxi-
mum, while providing isolation of 20 dB typical with a
power handling capability of 10 Watts CW minimum. The
input VSWR is 1.5 Maximum in any of the "on" states.
The phase accuracy is 90 +/- 5 degrees from input to
either output.
