Description
Highly integrated CMOS active pixel sensor (APS) consisting of either
VGA (640 x 480) and CIF (352 x 288) resolution pixel arrays. These
sensors offer excellent image quality with low power consumption, low
dark current, high sensitivity and anti-blooming characteristics. High
temperature tolerant color filter arrays enable machine solderability.
Operating from a single voltage, these sensors simplify overall system
design.
Features
Two array size options available: VGA (640 x 480) and CIF (352 x 288)
Random access and windowing capability to zoom to any sized
window on 4 x 4 pixel boundaries
Panning capability to any location within the sensor array
Video rates up to 15 frames/second VGA (HDCS-2000),
45 frames/second CIF (HDCS-1000/1100)
4:1 sub-sampling capability of full frame window yields
58 frames/second QVGA (HDCS-2000), 162 frames/sec QCIF
(HDCS-1000/1100)
Still image capability
Low power/standby modes
Color array using RGB Bayer filter pattern
Machine solderable, high temperature tolerant color filter array
10-bit internal successive-approximation ADCs
Automatic subtraction of column fixed pattern noise
Integrated timing controller simplifying system design
Digital output via l0-bit synchronous parallel interface
Programmable features include: window size, integration time,
gain control (separate for red, green and blue), data rate,
interface timing, interrupt control, operation modes, selection of
8 or 10 bit output, drive level of output pads, access to status
signals via a synchronous serial or asynchronous UART interface
