Self-diagnosis Function (PRO OUT) Pin8
The self-diagnosis function is to notify the abnormal state to the
outside when the power amplifier output pin is short-circuited to
VCC or GND.
In the example shown in the right, the HIGH state occurs in the
normal operation and the LOW state (about 0.2V to 0.3V) occurs
when the protective circuit is operating.
Note that this pin is the NPN open collector output.
* Keep this pin OPEN when this function is not used.
TJ MONI Pin 12
Diodes (three in series) are connected to GND as shown below in pin 12.
As the forward direction voltage of diode has the temperature dependence as shown in the figure left below, this
characteristic may be used to estimate the approximate junction temperature in IC.
