An overview of MSC0801 (F75K)
MSC0801 (F75K) is a member of Atmel’s MSC08 family of contact/contactless single-chip
microcontroller devices, designed for use in many new applications, including those within the
financial and transport sectors. Based on the industry-standard M68HC05 low-power HCMOS
core it gives access to the powerful instruction set of this widely used family of devices.
MSC0801 (F75K) is available in sawn wafer form.
All MSC08 devices are manufactured using a process that allows the test circuitry on the silicon
to be physically removed after testing. All MSC08 devices include EEPROM featuring 32-byte
programming and, typically, more than 1,200,000 write/erase cycles, and greater than 10 years
data retention.
