6-W/Ch Into an 8-
Load From a 12-V Supply
Up to 92% Efficient, Class-D Operation
The TPA3005D2 is a 6-W (per channel) efficient,
Class-D audio amplifier for driving bridged-tied stereo
Eliminates Need For Heatsinks
speakers. The TPA3005D2 can drive stereo speakers
8.5-V to 18-V Single-Supply Operation
as low as 8
. The high efficiency of the TPA3005D2
Four Selectable, Fixed Gain Settings
eliminates the need for external heatsinks when
Differential Inputs Minimizes Common-Mode
playing music.
Noise
The gain of the amplifier is controlled by two gain
Space-Saving, Thermally Enhanced
select pins. The gain selections are 15.3, 21.2, 27.2,
PowerPAD Packaging
and 31.8 dB.
Thermal Protection and Short Circuit
The outputs are fully protected against shorts to
GND, VCC, and output-to-output shorts. Thermal
Pinout Similar to TPA3002D2, TPA3003D2,
protection
ensures
the
maximum
junction
and TPA3004D2
temperature is not exceeded.
