FEATURES
DESCRIPTION
The TPS22913 is a small, low rON load switch with
Integrated Single Load Switch
controlled turn on. The device contains a P-channel
Ultra Small CSP-4 Package 0.9mm
× 0.9mm,
MOSFET that can operate over an input voltage
0.5mm Pitch
range of 1.4 V to 5.5 V. The switch is controlled by an
Input Voltage Range: 1.4-V to 5.5-V
on/off input (ON), which is capable of interfacing
directly
with
low-voltage
control
signals.
The
Low ON-Resistance
TPS22913 is active high enable.
– rON = 60-mΩ at VIN = 5-V
The TPS22913 contains a 150-
Ω on-chip load
– rON = 61-mΩ at VIN = 3.3-V
resistor for quick output discharge when the switch is
– rON = 74-mΩ at VIN = 1.8-V
turned off. The rise time of the device is internally
– rON = 84-mΩ at VIN = 1.5-V
controlled in order to avoid inrush current. The
TPS22913 family has various slew rate options (see
2-A Maximum Continuous Switch Current
Table 1).
Low Threshold Control Input
The
TPS22913
device
provides
circuit
breaker
Controlled Slew-rate Options
functionality by latching off the power-switch during
Under-Voltage Lock Out
reverse voltage situations. An internal reverse voltage
Quick Output Discharge Transistor
comparator disables the power-switch when the
output voltage is driven higher than the input (VIN) to
Reverse Current Protection
quickly (10
s typ) stop the flow of current towards the
input
side
of
the
switch.
The
reverse
current
APPLICATIONS
protection is active when the power switch is enabled
Portable Industrial Equipment
(ON).
Additionally,
during
under-voltage
lockout
(UVLO), or when the switch is disabled, no reverse
Portable Medical Equipment
current can flow as the switch body diode is not
Portable Media Players
engaged.

TPS22913
