register programming using the I2C bus
The I2C interface is provided to program the registers of the TLV320AIC22 in situations where programming
them through the serial interface is not convenient. The I2C interface is selected by setting the I2C/SPI pin to
logic high. When the I2C interface is selected, data contained in time slots 0 and 1 in the normal serial data
transmission is ignored. The I2C interface consists of the following pins:
SCL: I2C-bus serial clock. This input is used to synchronize the data transfer from and to the codec. A
maximum clock frequency of 400 kHz is allowed.
