Combination Options
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Combining Units from Different Series
The I/O expansion modules and special
function modules from the two series can
be combined at will, subject to the restric-
tions imposed by the differences between
the systems.
For example, you can use all the modules
for the FX0N series in combination with a
base unit from the FX2N series. Combined
use of modules from both series is also
possible.
A special conversion adapter is available
(designation: FX2N-CNV-IF) for connecting
modules from the old FX series to the base
units of the FX2N series.
The tables and figures below show the re-
strictions and other special requirements
that apply for combined use of modules
from different systems.
