Single Read from Slave with Repeat-Start Condition
3.1.1.2 Multiread Cycle
It is possible to read data at consecutive addresses during a cycle
without explicitly sending each address by implementing an
“autoincrement” in the block.
A multiread cycle starts like a normal read cycle, in which the master
sends a register address of register, Ad, and waits for the contents sent
back by the slave data(Ad). However, instead of issuing a stop condition,
it waits for new data, which is understood as being data(Ad+1). It
continues, data(Ad + 2), data(Ad + 3)..., data(Ad + n), until all addresses
are read, then the master issues a stop condition.
The multiread cycle has two variations:
Without a repeat-start condition
With a repeat-start condition
