The START_ADD and END_ADD pointers determine the cyclic buffer
boundaries (see Figure 2.38). The WRITE_ADD pointer holds the current
write address inside the cyclic buffer boundary. After reset and the begin-
ning of operation, the WRITE_ADD pointer receives the value of the
START_ADD pointer. The LAST_ADD pointer holds the start of section
address until the section has been posted successfully into the memory.
In case of error, the WRITE_ADD pointer rewinds to the LAST_ADD
pointer value.

Cyclic Buffer Operation
Cyclic buffers 30 and 31 are uniquely devoted to serve audio and video
PES data using the extended channel buffer mode. In addition to the
cyclic buffer logic described above, these two cyclic buffers include a
READ_ADD pointer. This pointer allows data to be read out of the buffer
in real time. The data read from these buffers is transferred to the output
transport audio and video buffers.
