condition. However, the SYNC_ON remains set to 1 as
long as the sync condition is true. After reset, the bit is 0.

PID Status
Queue (PSQ)
The PSQ consists of status information (4 words, 16 bits each) for each
in-process PID with its EI attribute control bit set to 1. After processing
a packet with EI set to 1, the status of this packet is stored in the PSQ,
and an interrupt is generated. The queue structure gives the host pro-
cessor more time to respond to an interrupt.

Scramble Control

These two bits are a copy of the SC bits in the transport
packet header.

PUSI
Packet Unit Start Indicator

This bit species that the current packet contains a start-
of-section or start-of-PES packet (when 1). When this bit
is 0, no PUSI is in this packet.

RAI
Random Access Indicator

When set to 1, this bit species that the current packet
contains an adaptation eld with the random access indi-
cator set to 1. This indication can be used by the host
processor to nd a proper place to perform program
switching. When this bit is 0, no random access indicator
has been detected.
